Who can benefit from the service?
Build Aviator is open to anyone! And if you’re a PAS2030 and TrustMark approved (or working on getting approval) Jewson customer then it’s free! If this doesn’t apply to you, then it’s a small £50 one-off payment per measure.
How do I go about getting a quote?
Once you’ve talked to your customer about the work they are thinking about doing under the Green Homes Grant, head over to the Simple Energy Advice website to download the relevant plans or create your own if you prefer. Send this over to the Build Aviator team at [email protected] and they’ll send you back a personalised quote within three working days. It’s that simple.
The quote will include a full bill of quantities, labour costs, as well as material lists – all products that are listed can be purchased through your local Jewson branch. It’s essential that the products you use work in line with the relevant system designs to get sign off from Building Control, so all the products Build Aviator suggest are BBA approved to give you that reassurance. We’ve also been working with Local Authority Building Control to ensure that our products are up to scratch with the relevant Registered Construction Details (RCDs). Altogether we have 15,000 compliant products that match the 368 Construction Details.
We also understand that you may need an extra pair of specialised hands to help you out on the more technical jobs, so you’ll also find any third-party labour costs in the quote to keep you in budget as well.
