As part of their prize for winning last season’s Jewson Cup, the football team at Green Norton Primary School in Northamptonshire have benefited from the expert advice of Northampton Town Football Club manager Gary Johnson.
Much to the delight of the team, the Cobblers’ boss visited the school on the 19th July and held an afternoon coaching session.
The budding young players won first prize in last seasons Jewson Cup after scoring the most penalties during the half time interval at a Northampton league game.
Our two local Jewson branches in Northampton also clubbed together to provide the team with a playing kit for the season ahead – this is the first time the team has had a kit supplied and welcomed the extra prize!
