Regular readers of our blog will know we take the issue of sustainable building very seriously here at Jewson, and as part of this commitment, we’ve just released our Sustainable Development Review for 2011-2012.
The Review is an overview of our activity in the key areas of environmental, economic and social, highlighting achievements we’ve made as well as outlining our future commitments.
You might be surprised by just how much we do at Jewson to keep ourselves as sustainable as possible. We work with suppliers to reduce in-bound packaging; with our branches to recycle waste and are constantly improving our logistics to reduce carbon emissions – to name but a few.
