If you live in or around the Hastings area and are free this weekend make sure you check out Pathway to Construction 2013 in Alexandra Park this Saturday (22nd June) from 10am-4pm. We promise it’ll be a FREE fun-filled day for all the family!
The day is packed with demonstrations and opportunities for everyone to have-a-go at bricklaying, plastering, carpentry and plumbing. You can also keep up-to-date on the latest energy saving plans and find out about courses at Sussex Coast College, local training opportunities and apprenticeship schemes. Plus, there will also be food, entertainment and live music as well as diggers and dumpers, workshops and play activities for the kids.
As well as all this, make sure you don’t miss the House Build challenge, a competition held for local schools to build a scaled house, sponsored by us and local contractors Booker & Best Ltd, George Stone Ltd, and Westoaks Builders.
