Our people are the key to our success and with this in mind, we recently asked 60 of our Branch Managers from across the country to take part in a new, interactive training course in Coventry.
Owned by Coventry University, the ACT-UK Simulation Centre is the only one of its kind and uses professional actors to help create real-life role play scenarios for trainees. The centre has been used by household names in the industry including Barratt, Lovell & Willmott Dixon.
The actors prepared for their role in the training by spending time in branch to get a feel for the environment and to understand what a Jewson Branch Manager faces on a daily basis.
‘’It was probably one of the best courses I have done with Jewson,” commented Ian George branch manager at the Jewson branch in Fakenham. “Held over 3 days it wasn’t rushed as some one day courses can feel and the days gave time for reflection. The quality of the course facilitators were excellent and it is good to see the continued commitment to the development of Jewson Branch Managers.’’
