As of this week, all authorised Green Deal Assessors and Installers can now register for the new Green Deal Quality Mark, to demonstrate compliance with the Green Deal Standards. This is to protect customers from rogue traders, as only registered businesses will be able to use this mark.
With this in mind, if you’re not already an authorised installer/ assessor under the Green Deal, but are looking to become one – make sure you don’t miss our one-day Green Deal awareness days at the Greenworks Training Academy, taking place on the 15th, 23rd August, 4th, 10th, 24th and 28th September.
Following on from these sessions you will also be able to book onto certification training courses to become an accredited Green Deal energy assessor or installer.
Sessions cover the practical measures of carrying out a Green Deal Assessment or installation and the software required to report on the findings. All participants then undergo assessment, in order to become Green Deal certified. Greenworks will then be able to submit the details of the assessors and installers they’ve certified to the new Green Deal standards for approval.
