Some say the Webb Ellis trophy is Rugby’s biggest prize, but we disagree. To celebrate the Rugby World Cup, we’ve created the biggest cup in Rugby, literally.
Inspired by a builder’s brew, the giant mug was revealed by international rugby star Neil Back in the home town of the sport, Rugby, this week.
Standing at two metres high and with capacity for 2,800 litres of tea, it’s set to be the biggest cup in sport this year.
To celebrate, we invited customers to our Rugby branch to pose for photos with the cup, to meet Neil and to take advantage of our free tea and bacon butties.
Neil Back said: “It was a big task to tackle but after several trys, Jewson has created a true homage to one of Britain’s greatest passions… tea. And also Rugby. I’m not sure if this will fit in my trophy cabinet though.”
Sorry Neil, this is one cup you won’t be getting your hands on!
