Earlier this year, we launched a competition in partnership with the Milwaukee Yamaha British Superbike team, where Jewson customers were given the chance to win a pillion ride with one of the riders.
Mark Waterfield was the lucky winner of the ride and two VIP tickets to the final race of the season at Brands Hatch. In true British style, the rain clouds built up alongside Mark’s excitement, meaning he had to take to the track on four wheels rather than two…
Mark commented: “We were delighted to win the prize and had a great day watching the Milwaukee Yamaha team race at Brands Hatch. It was the last race of the season and, although the guys didn’t win on the day, it was great seeing Josh Brookes take the championship.
“It was unfortunate that, due to weather conditions, we weren’t able to ride pillion, but we were able to experience a high speed lap of the track in one of the Nissan GTR pace cars, which was amazing.
“I’d like to say a massive thank you to Jewson and the Milwaukee team for their hospitality on the day – it really was a once in a lifetime experience!”
