Jewson Tools makes eCommerce awards shortlist

In 2012, we launched our first fully transactional eCommerce website, Jewson Tools. We’ve significantly expanded this over the last 12 months so we’re excited to announce that it’s been shortlisted as a finalist in the eCommerce Awards for Excellence in the Best B2B eCommerce category.

With Jewson Tools, we set out to replicate the excellent service that our customers have come to expect when they visit a Jewson branch – so to be recognised in this category is a great achievement. These awards celebrate the very best that the eCommerce industry has to offer, from groundbreaking innovations and campaigns to revenue growth and customer service excellence.

Jewson Tools gives our customers a way of purchasing that suits any schedule, from next day delivery to click and collect. The website now offers more than 12,000 products, alongside hand and power tools the range has expanded to offer roof windows, garden structures and fencing, and a collection of architectural ironmongery.

Jewson Tools joins an impressive line-up of household names that have also been shortlisted in the awards, including; House of Fraser, John Lewis, Toys ‘R’ Us, New Look, ASOS, Fortnum and Mason, Superdrug and Laura Ashley. After a surge of entries for the customer service, design and marketing categories this year, Jewson Tools is up against some strong competition – but we’ve got all our fingers crossed!

The winner of the Best B2B eCommerce category will be announced at an awards ceremony in London on the 30th September 2015.
