The team from our Jewson Newark branch are at the Horticultural Society (RHS) Tatton Park Flower Show in Cheshire today, helping horticulturists Philip Blant and Victoria Jackson raise awareness of Coeliac Disease. through a beautiful standout garden display. With a helping hand from Jewson, Philip and Victoria have successfully created a relaxing, private, and low maintenance seating area, for someone with Coeliac Disease.
For Philip and Victoria it was very important that the architectural structure of the garden used mainly natural materials, as well as reclaimed materials left over from previous works where possible.
Turning to our team at the Newark branch for donation of the building materials, Philip and Victoria set out to incorporate as many sustainable products into the garden as possible.
The strong form of the treated soft wood boundary fence partly encloses the garden on two sides, creating additional privacy to an existing low boundary hedge, which surrounds the property. Random words associated with Coeliac are partially concealed within the fence, whilst the seating area provides a raised platform from which to sit and view the garden.
For a chance to see the garden visit the Tatton Park Flower Show, 20 – 24 July, Tatton Park, Knutsford, Cheshire.
