We’re excited to announce that Jewson Tools has been named a winner in the eCommerce Awards for Excellence in the Best B2B eCommerce category. Jewson Tools is our first fully transactional eCommerce website and, after launching in 2012, we’ve significantly expanded it over the last 12 months.
With Jewson Tools, we set out to replicate the excellent service that our customers have come to expect when they visit a Jewson branch – so to be recognised in this category is a great achievement.
The website was recognised by an independent panel of judges – digital experts from companies such as Google and Tesco – for delivering a high-class customer experience with advice on offer via live chat, and a very speedy checkout process.
Jewson Tools gives our customers a way of purchasing that suits any schedule, from next day delivery to click and collect. The website now offers more than 12,000 products, alongside hand and power tools the range has expanded to offer roof windows, garden structures and fencing, and a collection of architectural ironmongery.
Jewson Tools joins an impressive line-up of winners at the eCommerce Awards, including; House of Fraser, Toys ‘R’ Us, Fortnum and Mason and Sony.
Continuing the winning streak, we’re also pleased to announce that our Building Better Communities campaign has now been shortlisted in the Social Buzz Awards for the Best Socially Responsible Initiative!
