There is a huge demand for information and training on sustainable products and building practices. With this in mind, our sustainability team are helping to address this gap in the market by holding a number of sustainability days at our branches throughout the UK.
To date, approximately 750 professionals have attended sustainability days held at Lytham St Annes, Flitwick, Fakenham, Hull, Stockport, Oxford, Norton and Sheffield branch in addition to an event at Gloucester Rugby.
Our sustainability days enable the branch and its suppliers to share information on sustainable products and building practices. The events, which are ideal for local builders, contractors, self-builders and DIYers, offer advice and help on meeting requirements under the Code for Sustainable Homes and the building regulations.
With presentations every hour from specialist suppliers covering topics such as heat pumps, solar PV, solar thermal, rainwater harvesting, insulation and underfloor heating, visitors gain a wealth of useful information. In addition, information is also provided on the Greenworks Training Academy, a dedicated training centre, which can be used by our customers who wish to gain hands-on knowledge of sustainable product solutions, renewable technologies and MCS Accreditation.
Our next sustainability day will be held at the Redhill branch on 28th July.
