Our Sustainability team are currently at Greenbuild Expo, sustainable refurbishment and building event in Manchester. Malcolm Gough, Sustainability Director, Steve Millward, Sustainability and Quality Director and Steve Warwick, Sustainable Solutions Director held a seminar about the role of Jewson in delivering the green agenda. Speaking to Malcolm Gough, it seems that the seminar was really interactive and generated some great conversations which were continued later on the Jewson stand.
Steven Smith, who also works within Sustainability at Jewson has great things to say about Greenbuild Expo so far “Customers seem really positive about the event and are delighted to see Jewson at Greenbuild this year”. A hot topic seems to be the Greenworks Training Academy which offers people training on sustainable building solutions and provides all construction professionals with in-depth advice and support. There has been a great appreciation for this at Greenbuild this year as builders and people in the industry want to know more about sustainable building solutions and how to use them. Customers have also highlighted that it makes building sustainably more convenient for them which is great!
Overall so far so good at Greenbuild Expo. The three speakers from Jewson will be holding another Seminar on the 2nd day of Greenbuild at 10am. This will specifically focus on The Greenworks Training Academy and will highlight Jewson’s commitment to a more sustainable future!
