Hereford FC Rises Like A Phoenix

Hereford FC Rises Like A Phoenix

Less than 12 months after being officially launched – following the sad demise of Hereford United in late 2014 – the early success of Hereford FC is clearly demonstrating that the people of Hereford have a huge thirst to support their local football club.

We quickly caught up with Chris Ammonds, Commercial and Office Manager at the club to talk about the team’s progress this season.

“An average of almost 3000 fans have watched Hereford FC’s home games so far this season – making the club the sixth best supported club outside the Football League.

“The team has also progressed to the FA Vase – a national cup competition for non-league clubs which culminates with a final at Wembley this Sunday May 22nd. The club’s former incarnation never managed to play at the national football stadium, so for the new club to be involved is an achievement we are proud of.”

“Off the pitch, Hereford FC has received fantastic support from the local community, and local business like our main sponsor Jewson It’s great to see how the power of football can unite people and the success Hereford FC has been having this season is testament to that.”

What a great year of football – best of luck to Hereford this weekend from all at Jewson!
