Building A Corner Planter With Build Aviator Lite

We’re all spending a lot more time at home at the moment and that means the garden is top of the to do list for most people.

Our friends at Build Aviator Lite have put together everything you need to build a corner planter – the perfect addition to any garden, whether it’s your customer’s or your own. Plus, it’s a great activity that the whole family can get involved in.

If you take up the challenge, be sure to share your pictures with us on social media!

What you’ll need:

  • 4x lengths of 120mm decking at 4.8m
  • 2x lengths of 47x50mm at 4.8m
  • 2x lengths of gravel board 150x20mm at 1.8m
  • 1 box of 50mm screws
  • Saw
  • Drill

Instructions:

  1. Measure and cut out the different lengths of timber. This is a great point to get the kids involved and help with the marking out
  2. Fix tier one together and then attach to the corner posts – leaving a 20mm gap for the base
  3. Fix the base to the corner posts
  4. Do the same for tier two and three – build the tier and then attach the base to the corner posts
  5. Time to get your hands dirty. Get the kids to fill the planter with compost and help with planting the flowers, plants or herbs of your choice
