The FA Cup’s been a bit dramatic, hasn’t it?

From underdogs to questionable pie etiquette, it’s been a rollercoaster of emotion. Here are our best bits so far.

Making history

This competition has certainly shown that history is for the taking. Just look at Lincoln City who became the first non-league team in 103 years to reach the quarter finals. They’re set to play Arsenal – no pressure.

Underdogs and upsets

Wolverhampton Wanderers struck a stunning upset when they beat Liverpool 2-1 at Anfield. And let’s not forget about Sutton United’s fairytale run to the fifth round, as well as their courageous performance against Arsenal. Which leads us nicely on to…

Pies

Who ate all the pies? Sutton United’s reserve goal keeper Wayne Shaw, it seems… He was conveniently seen on the bench scoffing a pie after 8/1 odds were issued on him doing just that. He’s just resigned.

But let’s not let that ‘pie’ Sutton’s amazing achievements, especially those of part-time brickie Jamie Collins who calmly put away the penalty that knocked Leeds United out in the fifth round. He’s inspiring us all to get back to 5-a-side and show some magic on a plastic pitch.
