We’ve recently hosted a series of CPD events with Local Authority Building Control (LABC) at our Newbury, Sunderland, Stockport, Birkenhead, Lincoln and Peterborough branches. The events proved such a success, with more than 250 trade professionals in attendance that we’re now planning to add further dates in the London area.
Our Fulham branch recently welcomed customers to a wine tasting evening to unveil a new kitchen and bathroom showroom! The evening event gave our guests the chance to browse a large range of exciting displays with our expert staff on hand to answer any questions.
Shoppers were surprised to see new staff at 13 Barnardo’s stores on 20th March as our employees took over the stores for the day!
The Greenworks Team joined us at this year’s Ecobuild, and it was clear that for those visiting the stand, the main questions being asked were all around how to get involved with the Green Deal. We were thrilled to welcome Baroness Verma, Parliamentary Under Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, to Greenworks for a tour of our Academy. Greenworks has been appointed the official supplier for the Birmingham Energy Savers scheme, which is set to make energy use greener and more affordable for households across the city, as well as boosting the local job market.
Our Leiston branch on Abbey Road will be unveiling its new kitchen and bathroom showroom at a casino-themed launch event on 8th November. The event, which will take place from 6.30pm – 10pm, will feature a range of casino tables so why not try your luck as well as enjoy complimentary food and drink. Also up for grabs is a Studio bathroom worth up to £1000, simply be there on the night to be in with a chance!

For those of you in the Cheshire region, we’ve got some good news for you: our Chester branch has just opened a new kitchen and bathroom showroom!
Customers who attended the official opening were welcomed with refreshments while they took the opportunity to browse the showroom. They were also able to take advantage of a 50% discount on By Design Kitchens and a 15% discount on any kitchen and bathroom when an appointment was booked that day. A raffle also took place with prizes including a Beko dishwasher, a Bristan Glee electric shower and bottles of champagne.
The showroom doors are now open from 7:30am – 5:00pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am – 1:00pm on Saturdays – with a wide variety of leading brands on display including Regency, Roca, Ideal Standard and Hotpoint. You can rest assured there’s something to suit all tastes and budgets – so if you’re local – be sure to utilise the new showroom!

Jewson customers were given the chance to try and beat Nigel in a game of darts, as well as enjoy the optical illusions created by magician, Dave Willmott. 35 of our main suppliers also attended, giving customers the chance to learn more about their products and ask any questions.
