A survey taken by the Federation of Master Builders (FMB) has shown that chronic skills shortages are forcing 66 per cent of small construction firms to turn down new business due to a lack of resources[1]. The figures also showed that firms are resorting to outsourcing work to avoid abandoning projects.

Jewson, just the job for Street League!

We’ve recently teamed up with Street League, the national charity which uses football to tackle youth unemployment. We’ve pledged to support the charity by providing work placements for up to 100 young people from Street League Academies across Scotland over the next 12 months. The partnership was officially launched at an event in Glasgow on Friday.
