Earlier this year we gave away £100,000 to community projects across the UK through our Building Better Communities competition. We recently visited Beccles Station in Suffolk, who won £5,000 of the prize fund, to see the progress of the renovation.
The projects have been nominated, the judging is over and the votes are in, and we can now reveal the official winners of our Building Better Communities competition.
Earlier this year, we launched the Building Better Communities competition in a bid to boost community spirit up and down the country. We asked you to enter the projects that are close to your communities’ hearts, but that are in need of a little TLC. With a chance of winning a share of £100,000 for building supplies and labour costs, you responded in your thousands.
Nominations for our Building Better Communities campaign have now closed, and we can reveal the shortlist of projects in with a chance of winning a share of the £100,000 prize fund.
There’s £100,000 up for grabs to support building projects of all shapes and sizes, no matter how innovative or ambitious. It’s our way of giving something back to the communities that we operate in, and projects across the country will benefit.
