We’re delighted to be attending Ecobuild once again this year. In 2011 it was non-stop on our stand and this time around we’re expecting more of the same. If you’re planning on paying a visit – we’ll be there advising on the importance of taking a ‘fabric first’ approach when faced with building new and renovating existing properties, using sustainable products and building methods.
Make sure you drop by and see us on stand N1820 – pick up the latest information about our training options available and you will even be able to give our e-learning facilities a go via standalone computer portals.
We look forward to seeing you there!
We’re delighted to have been appointed by the APUC (Advanced Procurement for Universities and Colleges) to supply universities and colleges throughout Scotland with a range of building materials. What’s more, we’ll also be extending our offer to include product-training sessions, work experience opportunities and branch tours for any students taking construction related courses.
We’ve decided to offer this as we all know at the end of the day – you can’t beat ‘hands on’ training. It’s important for students to get a well rounded education in all areas of construction and hopefully by learning in the classroom and with practical sessions – the future of the construction industry will be in good hands!

Last month we joined forces with our sister companies Gibbs and Dandy, Graham, Minster and Pasquill for a unique fundraising event – the Store Wars Challenge! The day was a huge success with the teams raising an amazing £52,000 in total – the largest amount raised to date from one event.
14 teams across the UK were set the task of running a local Barnardo’s store for the day raising as much money as possible through car washes, raffles, cake sales and fancy dress competitions.

As a company we take sustainability very seriously and have just released our Corporate Responsibility Report for 2010-2011.
So what is included in the report? Well, the report covers our key achievements including our CO2 emissions, waste to landfill and the level of in-bound packaging and water consumption.
Although the CSR report may seem like a lot of facts and figures – we feel it is important to show how as a business we are reducing our environmental impact.
