Jewson Live, our trade show for construction industry professionals, is back for a second year following its launch in 2015. To get the low down on what’s to come, we caught up with Jewson CEO, Mark Rayfield, who told us what we can expect from this year’s event…
Hi Mark, tell us where the idea for Jewson Live originally came from?
For the past few years, we’ve hosted an annual conference for all Jewson employees and suppliers where they could engage in product discussions and demonstrations. We realised that this is the kind of thing that customers and the wider trade need too – access to advice and the latest products available. With that in mind, we hosted our first Jewson Live last December.
How was the 2015 event?
It was great! We invited a range of suppliers to allow customers to see the products in action, as well as a range of educational talks on everything from building regulations, to product and design. The idea was to add value to the trade, so that they can add value for their customers. And we had a Keith Lemon lookalike come along…
What can we expect for 2016?
You can expect Jewson Live to be even bigger and better! We’re going to see a stellar line-up of speakers, including Charlie Luxton, Dion Dublin and Neil Back MBE, as well as trade deals and the chance for attendees to redeem extra rewards via the Juice by Jewson loyalty scheme: it’s not to be missed!
