Our Sunderland branch of Jewson has won the closely fought Large Branch of the Year 2010 award. The branch in Southwick won the award for being the highest performing within the area despite strong competition from other branches. Although it achieved a record level of sales, is attributing this success to the continued support of its customers in the local area.
The win comes following a busy year, after the branch was relaunched in April 2010 following the amalgamation of the Pallion branch with the larger branch in the Southwick area.
Dennis Scarth, Jewson Area Director commented: “We would like to thank all our customers for their support throughout 2010. We understand that although we have worked hard to keep the impact on our customers to a minimum, the merging of two branches into one larger facility inevitably causes some disruption, so we are grateful to all our customers, both existing and new, for their loyalty.”
