A Jewson Festivity In Greater London

Our Fulham and Battersea branches have partnered up to donate 125 blue 75-litre rhino tubs as stands for the Christmas Trees that have lined the Northcote Road in Battersea Park, as part of the local Christmas celebrations.

The Northcote Road celebrates Christmas every year with its annual light event.

This is the second year that Jewson has been involved, last donating a smaller amount of Rhino tubs after learning about the event through a customer who supplied the cement. Local businesses donate the trees and cement that sit in the Rhino tubs from Jewson. The event aims to bring together the local community with a Santa’s Grotto and Christmas market selling festive homemade gifts and locally sourced food for all the family to enjoy.

As well as bringing festive cheer to the local area, the event aims to raise money for charity as each Christmas tree is sponsored by a local business.

Domenic Sidonio, Sales Executive in the Fulham and Battersea area said, ““This is a great local event which we’re pleased to be able to support. The tubs are an unusual Christmas tree base but they are actually ideal for keeping the trees in place, as they are extremely durable. Who knows it may start a trend in unusual Christmas trees! ”
