It took our proudly sponsored Gloucester only six minutes to put points on the board, and a 10-0 lead at half time set the rest of the game up nicely for the cherry and whites. Although the second half started slowly, Gloucester went on to outclass Newcastle and extend their winning streak to 11 matches, winning 34-7 at the final whistle. This victory not only means the first piece of silverware of the domestic season but also a precious place at Europe’s top table in next year’s Heineken cup.
