Craig Dixon, Branch Manager at our Kendal branch was busy at his desk recently when he overheard a conversation which amazed him.
A customer was at the counter with her 12 year old son explaining that he had refused to go out with his friends as he knew his mum was coming into Jewson and wanted to come along.
That alone surprised Craig, but then Jack went on to tell him he loves Jewson that much that he wanted to have his birthday cake in the shape of a Jewson wagon.
Craig Commented: “I was completely astonished. When I spoke to Jack, he told me that when he spots a competitor’s van he always boos at them.”
“As such an enthusiastic young fan, I thought it would be great to give him a Jewson bobble hat and soft shell jacket – he was overjoyed with them! It was great to meet the lad – you never know, he could be the future branch manager!”
