It’s also worth noting that Brown Rock Salt is pure Rock Salt and should not be confused with Winter Grit, which has an aggregate mixed with the salt. When the ice melts, rock salt dissolves, whereas winter grit leaves the aggregate residue which can cause people to slip/fall.
