Welcome to part 6 of Gary’s Self Build journey with Jewson. To start at the beginning read the first blog post.
Once I had discussed the key information about Gary’s project over the phone, I made contact with the nearest Jewson branch to the project. In this case it was Nottingham Colwick where I spoke to Sarah Miles the branch manager. Nottingham is one of many branches that are perfectly suited to support every stage of a self build project as it has a dedicated kitchen and bathroom showroom and landscaping centre in addition to a Tool Hire service and full range of chain of custody certified timber.
Once I gave Sarah more information about Gary’s project and the support he required, Sarah arranged to visit Gary on site. Upon Sarah’s visit it became very clear that the kitchen and bathroom parts of the project were particularly important to Gary and his family. This led Sarah to arrange for Gary and Laura to visit the branch to design and discuss further with the Showroom Supervisor. Once Sarah learnt a bit more about the project she was able to create a dedicated competitive term of prices specifically tailored for Gary’s project.
