We have recently renewed our major supply contract with the Golden Gates Housing Trust (GGHT) for a further three years. The new contract, which started in January 2011, is a renewal of an established five-year contract from 2006 and is worth in the region of £5 million.
Golden Gates Housing Trust is a registered provider of social housing, which provides quality homes and well-invested neighbourhoods. Ian Robinson, Service Development Business Manager for Golden Gates Housing Trust commented saying:
“Over the last five years we have been working very closely with Jewson to make the contractual arrangement in place into more of a ‘partnership’. Given the excellent working arrangements we considered extending the existing supply contract for a further 3 years subject to a satisfactory value for money evaluation. Upon completion of the VFM negotiations we have delivered greater savings whilst maintaining the level of quality of service that has been the hallmark of this partnership working arrangement”.
