Great Success at our Redhill Branch Sustainability Day

Our Sustainability Day at our Redhill branch on 28th July was a great success with over 130 customers attending. We also had 20 suppliers in attendance and they agreed that is was the best sustainability event we’ve held yet!

The day consisted of presentations from the suppliers on the latest sustainable materials and technologies. In addition there was opportunity for the customers to learn about sustainable solutions. Customers were also given tips on building sustainably. Steven Smith, Category Manager for Sustainability at Jewson, said that the customers were very impressed by the range of technologies available which they were either unfamiliar with or didn’t know existed. They found it useful to meet the experts in the field and it gave them some clarity on the whole green agenda.

The customers were also interested in out Greenworks Training Academy and 40 of them requested information about signing up to courses.

Overall the day was enjoyed by suppliers, customers and all the Jewson staff who were involved. Keep an eye on our blog for information on the next Sustainability day!
