Staff and customers from our Buckley branch placed their bets to raise money for St Kentigerns local hospice. The charity race night took place at the end of September and was organised by Roy Swinburn, Customer Services Manager at the branch. The event raised more than £460 for the hospice, which provides palliative care for people with life-threatening illnesses throughout North East Wales.
Roy said: “I’d like to thank everyone who helped make the night such a success – around 70 people joined us on the day and everyone that attended said they had a fantastic time. We’re really pleased to be able to donate this money to such a worthwhile local charity and hope it will help them continue the great work they do.”
